M24, also known as the Sagittarius Star Cloud, is not considered a deep-sky object but rather a field of stars. It is an extremely packed area of the sky that is simply full of stars, but can you reveal all the beauty hidden behind?

This dataset was acquired from our RASA8 telescope at Utah Desert Remote Observatories, under exceptionally dark skies. It amounts to 12.5 hours of integration time.

Equipment used:

  • Telescope: Celestron RASA8
  • Camera: ASI2600MC
  • Mount: 10Micron GM1000HPS
  • Filters: N/A
