IC 342, also known as the Hidden Galaxy, is a beautiful yet not often captured galaxy located in the constellation Camelopardalis, approximately 7 million light-years away from Earth.
 
This dataset was acquired from our refractor telescope at Utah Desert Remote Observatories, under exceptionally dark skies. It amounts to 34 hours of integration time, resulting in a clear and impressive image that also contains the Hydrogen Alpha regions!

We recommend stacking the RGB data like you would with any galaxy, and then include the HA data to reveal the star-forming regions in the spiral arms.
