In the constellation of Cygnus you will find the Veil Nebula Complex, also known as the Cygnus Loop.
This is a beautiful supernova remnant that is seen expanding over a huge area of the sky. It is mostly made up of Hydrogen Alpha and Oxygen III gas, which is why this image was done in bi-color!
This picture was taken over two nights using a monochrome camera and a refractor telescope. HA and SII filters were used and the data was later combined to create a result rich in red and blue colors.
