If you reach the position where you are going to be running multiple setups concurrently, all things being equal, do you want several different mounts or would you prefer all of them to be identical? I can see it both ways. Always fun to play with something new. But keeping track of multiple sets of eccentricities could quickly get old...

It would depend on the OTA and total weight for each setup. If we were to run two setups concurrently, we would prefer to have a primary mount that can handle a heavy payload, and a second mount that is more portable for a small wide field telescope.
If the payloads are identical, or the mounts are in a permanent observatory, I would definitely prefer the mounts to be identical though because it does indeed sound easier!
