Jupiter is one of the best planets to photograph!

Below you can see our few attempts at the planet. Note that we will update this post more in depth and take more photos when Jupiter, just like Saturn did, wins your votes, and be the star of a complete Galactic Hunter episode.

Jupiter without a Telescope

Jupiter can easily be captured without a telescope! Below is our photo using our old Canon t3i with a 300mm lens. You can see several moons, which are annotated.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Jupiter, along with Saturn and Mars, is one of the best planets to see and photograph. We do not have great planetary equipment, but we plan to get a much better picture of it when it is time for this gas giant to be in an episode of Galactic Hunter.
